Persimmon Hill, a Corps park on the east end of the lake, now has full hookups.
It is a beautiful park, too.
Yocona Ridge has full hookups.
There is a nearly tame herd of 22-23 deer at Cossar that are amazing to watch.
There are 2 spotted fawns and a little spike buck in velvet right now.
I will have deer corn with me next time.
Some of the tame does walk right up to you like "Give me somethin', Mr."
North Abutment in Grenada does not have full hookups, but is a beautiful park and close to home.

Thinking about going to Choctaw Lake at Ackerman, MS- a US Forest Service park on MS Hwy 15 south of Ackerman and north of Louisville this weekend-
I may not have my trailer. I may be camping in a friend's Tiffin Allegro Bus. Our friend has 4 campers... My trailer is at Dependable RV in Madison, MS getting the a/c repaired.
We are going to Choctaw Lake next weekend- August 19-21 for the Little Sturgis, MS motorcycle rally.
Labor Day weekend- September 2-5- will be at George Payne Cossar State Park, Yocona Ridge campground.
September 23-25 will be at the North Abutment Campground at Grenada for Pickin' at the Lake- a bluegrass festival.
If it is any other weekend we can just make plans to go to Grenada or Enid on a Friday afternoon for the weekend. Our middle name is Go.

Even if it is a week night we can drive up in the car and shake hands and say hello.

Coconut Grove, Miami, FL, though we were sans Airstream. Thank goodness the hotel had excellent air conditioning!

In my own bed after a 13,548 mile round trip to Alaska. It was a wonderful trip, saw spectacular scenery, animals, and best of all, the nice people that we met on the trip. Would I do it again, oh yea, but after a lengthy break.
