Day 114 camping in Quartzsite AZ.
The show is about over.
Time to start thinking about moving to higher ground for cooler weather.
Temps this week should get in to the mid 80's here.

Getting the rig de-winterized and cleaned up this weekend for our first trip of the year (next weekend) to Gettysburg. We have never been to Gettysburg before.

This year I have had the batteries on a marine battery maintainer, on the bench in the garage -- after a full charge the maintainer did a great job.

Then the first weekend of April off to French Creek State Park for opening day of early trout season.

Harrisburg East campground near Harrisburg, PA.

Unfortunately the furnace - which I thought was finally fixed - isn't starting. With a different problem than what I fixed.

Stuck at home for another month. Hubby working lots of overtime. Trailer still sitting in it's winter home. Probably bring it home in about 3 weeks or so. Should have curtains finished by then.

Do you have a specific date that the tourist show up? or is it set by the ,weather? We had two days of rain and can see the grass growing, definitely time to do some our local camping. best weather and least bugs

Bottomless Lakes SP a few miles SE of Roswell, NM. Spent the day doing nothing but enjoying the sun and 70 deg temps. Had hoped to get some trailer cleaning done but just couldn't work up the energy. Maybe tomorrow which is supposed to be a repeat of today.

Sitting in Naples, Florida right now. Just poured a glass of home made wine, sitting in shorts and door wide open. Does not get much better than this. Tomorrow we head to Key Largo for a week. Then to Fort Myers beach for 8 days. Rub it in, Rub it in LOL :]

We went to the Portland RV show last night; not a single Airstream in the joint. The more I look at the SOB's, the more I love our Argosy!

No camping plans until April; this weekend we're sealing some leaks and doing minor repair. We're also going to help our friends try to fix their 1973 (?) Apache pop-up trailer so they can come camping with us. (We're working on finding an Airstream or Argosy for them too!)

The cruise season starts on May 3 this year..all set by the cruise lines. Other tourists start showing up around the 15th of May, once the weather is really getting good.

I've been in Vegas with Bob and Lee on their random trip. Boy did I have fun!

Otherwise truth be told I am here in Lapeer Michigan enjoying a change of season and wanting to hook up with my next adventure ASAP!

The wife joined the silver sisters clan and left me Friday morning with the Airstream! I'm stuck at home. So far;

I took the sons out to dinner last night.

Today, I found a nice 29' ambassador and was going to go "look", but realized I didn't have my truck. Too far to Canada to outfit the Nissan Murano she left me with, with magical towing powers, I decided to clean the pool instead. Followed by a workout and a nap.

Woke up in a cold sweat, and yup, the Airstream dock on the side of the house is still empty. I had a text message telling me how much fun they're having. For the last hour I've been doing the only reasonable thing. Reading airforums and working on my dutch oven cobbler.
