where are we going this weekend?
on Saturday, only as far as the driveway! but we'll be on the roof of the Safari, replacing the original roof vents with two new Fantastic Fans! then, a wash & wax.
maybe to the shore for the day on Sunday?
but on Monday, to watch the parade and stand quietly and with respect to our many friends and family, and to all those others who serve, and have served this great land, preserving and protecting all of us and the lives we so richly enjoy.
best,

I did go to the topsail website and it looks pretty nice too, and still within walking/biking range of the beach.
Have a safe Holiday!

You probably saw this on their web site, but the campground also has a tram that takes you to the beach.

We will take our Bambi Sport on its second voyage (first time out of Texas) by heading to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas and letting our dog help us dig for diamonds.
Apparently we aren't the only ones looking to get away this weekend though. I stepped out to walk the dog this morning and two other people on my street are also loading up to head out as well.
Lot of travel trailers on my street this morning

Where are you going for Memorial Day Weekend?
DW works all weekend, so we’re chilling at home, dog sitting youngest sons pups whilst they go to Legoland with the kids for Memorial Day and several days after.
We tend to avoid travel on long holiday weekends as it is quite a crowded scene.

Back yard on Memorial Day, 4th, and Labor Day. The highways and byways are best left to the weekend warriors on holidays. Kick back, enjoy the burgers and hold your honey's hand. Pat
It's OK if your back yard is not in the same Zip code as your mailing address.

I'm heading for the N. Georgia mountains, Lake Burton.
A week there to visit friends who just bought a cabin, then since I got canceled at Lake Lanier (hi water), I decided to try the Airstream campground near Helen, Ga. (Top of Georgia AS Park).
I'm not leaving until Monday, and Memorial day didn't factor in.
I'm headed to the AS now to fire up the fridge and remove one propane tank to refill. I wouldn't have noticed, but I had the tank cover off and the clamp removed and one tank moved too easily.

Hi what recall regarding brakes? We just had our Airstream brakes repaired and no mention of a recall.
