A local misquito infested campground, Le Fleurs Bluff CG...WHY? Well, our son and a bunch of his pals decided it would be fun to tent camp...I'll be the guy in the Airconditioned Airstream watching the 20 year olds swatting skeeters, slinging sunblock and sweating in the 90 deg 90% humidity.

I wouldn't miss it for anything...

All of those places sound like fun!
We will be at home and working a fundraising event for the band boosters, selling hot dogs, chips etc. at the local Gander Mountain, on the sidewalk. Have to work to send those kids to band camp!
We will also be picnicing with our daughter and her soon to be in-laws.
Oh, and packing for the Alumapalooza at JC next week.
Hope to see some of you when we get there.

Have a wonderful and safe weekend, everyone! We will be keeping the military families in our thoughts too!

Staying home, no rezzies, I really hate to "schedule" my camptrips. I like to just roll in there.

We're shaking out our new-to-us motorhome by camping in my mother-in-law's driveway.

We leave tomorrow for a fun filled weekend at Shirttail Creek, Just out side of Auburn California. We will be the only Airstream there showing off the Silver beauty. We wish even one traveling this weekend to be safe and take it slow.

Heading out tomorrow for the Berkshire Mountains of MA. Looks like a fabulous weekend. We're co-hosting the Rally In The Valley for the NEU and WDCU.

Leaving Friday for the bourbon tour in Kentucky. Staying in Elizabethtown and traveling each day from there. Might just savor a few samples along the way.

Safe travels to all

We are staying home. Too many out there for us. Plus we have a wedding in about 3 weeks, so must clean house, yardwork etc for out of town visitors.
Then we will plan at least one trip a month until the real cold weather comes in the winter.
To all that will be traveling, be safe and have great fun.

We just came back from Camping on the Gulf RV park last week (about 2-3 miles from Topsail). Drove down to Topsail to check it out. Really liked that park. It's on our list for next time we're in the area. Beaches still beautiful, weather perfect and oil about 100 miles out. Hope it stays out for you.

How's is at Top of Georgia? Will I have a space available, or will the rally use most of them up? Never been to a rally, and I need to work on the AS in preparation of going full time.

Hello nohillgrish. How did you like Camping on the Gulf? We had a reservation to go there for 5 nites next week, but changed our plans to go to the Frio River in the Texas Hill Country because of concerns about the oil hitting the beach while we were there. I am glad it is still clear, and I hope it stays that way for the folks in the Destin area. We plan on rescheduling that trip for next year, but we have never been to the Florida beaches before, and just wondered how you liked Camping on the Gulf in particular. Does Topsail have a website?
