Finally A Nice Weekend

Just back from Penn Wood Airstream park. What a beautiful weekend. Got a lot done on our site, washed and waxed the trailer, and had great fun and fellowship all weekend.

A little 'ol private south Texas ranch. Quiet and more quiet. Few folks on the road. Just the echoes in the hills. 100 degrees F.

Next time we go where there's more folks and fun, but a tad bit less Sun.

Love the pictures of the campsites all set up - snow and all. Thank you all for sharing.

Returned from the INDY 500 where I found the place packed with campers in everything from tents on the ground to Prevost Mohos. Our Camping World hosts had 150 or so registered but expected around 130 to show up due in part to fuel prices. By the end of the weekend the lot was pretty full. The trip up and back to INDY on the Interstate was not a traffic jam most likely due to curtailed travels nationwide therefore making the drive a pleasant experience.
HAPPY TRAILS

We spent 2 weeks in DC visiting our Navy corpsman son, Todd. We saw everything we could see...including Mt Vernon, Gettysburg (that place moved us) and we witnessed Todd's re-enlistment ceremony on the steps of the Linclon Memorial. He re-enlisted for another 3 years. He is coming up on 14 years now. Todd is currently serving at Bethesda Navy Hospital.

You must be very proud! Please thank your son for his service for me. My son is thinking of the Airforce after graduation from college.

Hot Springs

We hope to be in hot water . . . Harbin Hot Springs, north of Calistoga, California. Very granola, very hippy, somewhat"new age".

We won't be towing the Airstream. Phooey!

We'll be driving our mother earth loving Prius and pitching the old North Face tent. Hopefully, the ground will have dried up a bit from all of the recent rain.

Nothin' wrong with hippies. We love hippies! Come on, you must own a pair of Birkenstocks. How about something tie dyed?
