Wow!
I see Springfield finally made it on the news. 1st Obama comes here now we have the cheapest gas in ther Nation all in the same week!
Funny how we can get excited about gas being $3.33 a gallon! I fill up everytime I pass by even if it only holds $20, worth.
One thing I love to say at the Station...."I got $20.00 worth of gas today....it cost me 80 bucks!

Our diesel "fell" to $4.299 today and when I filled up, I felt like celebrating because the bill was in the $60's, not $80's or $90's! Really, I could kick myself for feeling excited over such a "drop."

Here in the metro STL area were are down to about $3.55. You know the thing though that has continued to surprise me is the $.70 per gallon premium paid for diesel. I just shake my head in disbelief that the lower sulfur fuel has added that much to the cost of production. It's almost as if the oil companies knew that the diesel users just don't have an alternative. At least with us gas guys, we can limit our use of our gas vehicles since we aren't using them full time for business needs.
The diesel folks however don't have much choice and if you are a business, or a trucker, or farmer to name a few, you are screwed.
