Hi, latest report from the local Shell station in Lakewood, Ca. Gas has been going up, sometimes twice a day, but Diesel has been the same for several weeks. Shell has been about the lowest of the major brands in this area; And I don't count the cheap stations because I won't put their cr@p in my vehicles.
Regular.........................$4.55
Mid-Grade...............$4.65
Premium.............$4.75
Diesel...........$5.09
My brother is on vacation right now; He called me tonight and said that the gas prices are a little bit lower everywhere else than my Southern California area. [Not news] I asked him about reservations to campsites and his answer was that the campsites are mostly empty and that he hasn't seen very many RV's on the road.

$3.99 for regla and $4.79 for Diesel. Still holding...........

I hope it's a Porche your putting premium into otherwise you are just wasting your money. There is no notable difference in running 89 vs. 91 octane in a six cyl. engine. Check it out. We have always wanted to move to New Hampshire and now is starting to look like a good time with fuel so cheap there! This morning Shell regular pump your own $4.59.9 per gallon. I am begining to think part of the rising costs is the salery the stations now have to pay to have a full time person on hand all day to keep changing the posted and pump prices!

Today in mid Missouri: gas $3.799; diesel 4.559. It's agony each time we pump, but it must hurt more in other places, according to your reports. We'll be heading up North, Minnesota near the Canadian border. Fuel gets hauled a long way up there on less than interstate roads. I'm expecting much higher pricing when we get out of Missouri. ~G
