What is the cost of fuel in your area?

Our fuel went up yesterday and we are now at $ 3.63 for unleaded and $ 4.25 for diesel.

Good morning everyone. Regualr pump it yourself at the Shell station was $4.13 this morning. As I had mentioned before once the media starts hyping gas over $4.00 per gallon so it will be. Of course this morning one one of the Early Morning news shows they mentioned $5.00. So guess what? I predict that by July 4th weekend we will be paying $5.00 or better in our area.

Chevron down the street today(Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach): diesel running @ $4.85 and regular gas @ $3.85. Last week in Las Vegas I paid $3.59 for regular gas at a Chevron. Lets see, the Chevron refinery is about 20 miles from here and about 300 miles to Las Vegas, I guess the truckers are paying the oil companies for transporting the fuel, yeah, that's it, now I get it. Son of a B*****

Hmmm. Yesterday, Safeway's regular rose to 3.49, which translates to 3.39 with the 10 cent per gallon discount that customers get for purchases of food of $50 or more. It doesn't take many bags of groceries to top $50.

I saw one Mobile station around the corner from me that was charging $3.95.9 for regular yesterday. No one was buying from him another down the street from him had it at $3.79.9. My Burb has been parked for 2 months now. I really miss driving it. Where will this end?
