What is the cost of fuel in your area?

It is getting really crazy over here... I just passed a gas station and saw the new diesel prices... 1.429 euro per liter that is 5.409 Euro per US-gallon or $8.36 per gallon!!!!!! YES, 8.36 US-Dollar... ...and $8.72 per gallon for gas... Damn and I'll have to bring my hardly earned money to the filling station tomorrow. to get some diesel... I hate that!
The only good thing is that my Volvo V50 averages 34 miles per gallon going slow in town and fast on the highway. I had a VW Passat before that averaged a very nice 42 miles/gallon... missing it!

$3.99 Diesel again. Last [8] tanks am averaging 19.3 mpg around town. Learned that if I keep average speed above 20 mph then all is well (Time divided into miles).

$3.67 is the cheapest in our town in northern Michigan. Diesel is $4.29 a gallon.

Here Regular is 3.47 per gallon Diesel is 4.09 per gallon.

I paid $3.819 for premium (my daily driver requires it) yesterday in Highlands Ranch, CO...yikes!

I do get mid-20's (city/hwy combined) to the gallon though ~

Wow am I jealous of your "cheap" fuel prices... as the fuel compainies have tricked those in my area to believe. I'm in Southern Ontario Canada, approx 80 miles East of Toronto. Gas here was $1.27 per litre today - that would be approaching $5 per gallon. The lowest price we've seen this year I would estimate to be $1.10 per litre. Fuel is so ridiculously priced now, how will we tow our Airstreams?
