Reg. gas is down to $3.70 in S.E. Florida today. Been dropping all week end. Odd, usually up over the week end.

Gas had dropped to $3.29 here, but then jumped yesterday to $3.49 again. What happened? Labor Day weekend? Hurricane Gustaf? Anymore excuses? Diesel has held at $3.99 for a week or so. ~G

Hurricane G and F have caused a .30 cent jump in gas here in 2 days - must be the increase in demand. Everyone is filling up all containers - saw a lady with 14 - 5 gal containers in her Ford Taurus yesterday - in the trunk and back seat. What a bomb if I ever saw one.....

$3.59 for gas is the cheapest I've found in southern NH - just filled up my truck a few minutes ago.

On Friday when I passed Wally World in the morn gas was 3.35 for regular, by the afternoon it had jumped up to 3.55 with the threat of Gustav comming into the gulf and it possibly creating a fuel shortage.
As of Saturday 7:45 pm Gustav was still in Cuba and has not even got into the gulf yet nor has it effected the platforms in the Gulf, but fuel prices is rising because of a shortage that has not even happened yet.
