Yup, $10/lid... 'course I don't know anything about that... just something I heard about...

Just filled up yesterday at $3.99 for diesel. Cut me off at $75 Had to swipe the card again for another $34.34 to finish filling it up.

Really p*sses me off that the station determines how much I can charge on a debit card at one time. Having to re-swipe & do the pump at these prices, adds insult to injury.

I ran into that in Fl. last fall. I was using a credit card and the station had a sign printed that if you needed more than $45 worth of fuel, you would have to do it in two transactions. Something about credit card fees that they had to pay. Apparently 2 swipes cost them less than one larger transaction. I always thought that the transaction fees they paid were lower on larger transactions.

The King Soopers and City Market (part of Kroger) pumps used to shut off at $50 so they wouldn't have to give you the 10¢ discount after that. I think it's up to $100 now.

The local Texaco shuts ya off at $60 = 15 gallons. Ya want more? reswipe the card and it tells ya to 'Please see the clerk'

I usually head for the stations that service the Big Rigs. They don't seem to have a cutoff thats inside my purchasing power

Diesel is around $4.25 here and regular is sitting around $3.58/gal.

Can't wait to see how much they gouge us in time for camping season. I'll need a second mortgage.

Any of you guys go back and look at the first few postings....at this point $1.46 would be cause to dance in the street!

OK, I'm gonna go cry now at the $4.25 per gallon for diesel around here now. I want to take a trip to Ocracoke this summer but figure it'll be $5 per gallon by then.

Well, I'll have to skip dinner out a few nights and eat hot dogs, but I'm still going

Haven't been able to make it to a Forum Rally yet....

But I have an idea why everyone says there so much fun.

If you can remember the 60's, you probably weren't there
