A good site klattu! The link is USA National Gas Temperature Map

I drove north from San Antonio this last Sunday/Monday. I saw diesel around $3.22 in Missouri. I scratched my head when it was $3.44 when I got home. This map would have explained it!

Regular was $2.84 in southern New Jersey this weekend. Back in Delaware it was still $2.88. The price here had actually dropped 5-6 cents per gallon by the end of last week.

All I have to say is JUMPING! I'm hoping a deal will come out that'll allow me to switch my current SUV (aka prospective tow vehicle) for a hybrid version.

Isn't Chevy/GMC are coming out with shorty Tahoe/Yukon in '08? The 4x4 version is supposed to get 20 mpg, and I don't know if it comes with a tow package.

Gas yesterday $2.899 at the Fleet Farm store.

Here in Delaware, regular dropped another 4 cents per gallon, from $2.87.9 on Sunday to $2.83.9 yesterday.

Just got back from Destin Fla. We found gas ranged from $3.09 down in Destin to $2.87 here in STL. Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama fell within this price range.

Today's local prices:
Unleaded $3.59
Diesel $3.79
Both are a dollar more per gallon from this time last year.

Here's one for you - let's grenade the gas, the diesel, and go with "salt water".

Just one of the potential options for the future - it will be interesting to see what we'll be feeding our vehicles in ten to twenty years.
