What do you lose in fuel economy with e-85 while towing? I've read the average loss is about 15-20% making the break even point for $3.00 gas comparing to $2.40 e-85. I've ran it in my car and lost less then 15%, but I've never tried it while towing.

I haven't used E85 while towing. In fact, the owners manual says not to use E85 for towing, althought the dealer I bought it ('03 Tahoe) from says it will run on used beer.

My last fill was $2.32 for E85. Regular gas was $3.05. I lose 2 to 2.5 mpg on E85. Its not a big saving.

Here in north Texas - DFW - regular unleaded is $2.85; diesel is $3.00. Only one station sells E-85 and it is too far away from our new home but my husband enjoyed it when it was on his way to/from work.
