Eaton Oil company out of Rowley, MA. They have a limited delivery area and don't deliver to NH.

I read today that where the Canadian average price for regular gasoline is $1.20 the US is .85. Guess since we live 15 minutes north of the border we'll be gassing up over the line. For those of you planning to add Canada to your travels this summer be aware that our gasoline prices will knock your socks off.

Gas in Canada will always be higher than in the US due to higher taxes - or at least it will until the Loonie hits $1.20 US, but I doubt the Bank of Canada will allow it to rise that far so they'll be forced to devalue the Loonie as quickly as the Fed is devaluing the greenback.

Thanks! That's good to know because many of us from the New England area will be heading to Canada in August for our Region One Rally in PEI.

Huntington Beach, CA, Chevron 9:00AM Diesel $4.09 per gallon

Huntington Beach, CA, Chevron 1:00PM Diesel $4.29 per gallon

same Chevron, no special location to warrant premium pricing, just 4 hours apart.....I couldn't even bear to look up the sign at regular gas pricing, I didn't want to know, my tank was still full from yesterdays beating.

We are lucky are other car is a Prius, only problem is that we can't find a hitch for it.

Whew, looks like I better start saving for summer break.

No kidding! With diesel rising in price as it is, the hurt is going to be felt even more accutely in almost everything else we use/consume. And it will hurt, affecting not only consumerism but the resulting employment issues as business fail because they can't compete. I pity whoever becomes president as they will bear the brunt of fixing the mess this created.

I heard this morning on CNBC, that China is driving the diesel prices even higher. They are comsuming quite a bit more than they use too. Gas was 3.12 on monday, diesel was 3.65.

I'm sure both China and India have something to do with it as well as planetary alignment, solar sunspots and Dominos Pizza... Which one of all these "causes" creates the massive quarterly profits those struggling oil companies report? My brother works for an oil company, a large one... he told me several years ago, $3/gal. gas was going to look good in hindsight. This was in the business plan. Who ever thought gas/diesel would be at the price it is now? And our politically elite never saw this coming?

Seems every explaination we receive is like watching a shyster on the street moving 'magic" cups on the table asking "which one is it under?".

This issue severly affects what we all love most: Airstreaming. When policians promise "change", lets nail 'em down to what exactly does that mean. Let's get specifics. Every polician promises "change" otherwise, why vote?

Question, will travel become so expensive that we are relegated to 100 mile trips? I'll bet if RV'ers of all brands got together and created enough noise, we'd get some attention really quick.

In my humble opinion, that is...

We will continue RVing

We may not go as far. I think in the big picture we don't really worry about fuel costs. We don'tlike it BUT we will still suck it up and go. It is what we do!
What I don't understand is the whole Deisel pusher market, you have to have funny money for that hobby! Or big boats! 400 gallons at the dockside pumps @ 5 bucks a gallon to cruise for the weekend!

Hummm... not wanting to be rude or anything, but isn't that just what a politician would want? Grin and bear it? Follow the person in front no matter where they go? Sorry, that's not what I do.

You're right, we'll prioritize and hopefully, say something about it, too. But suck it up and just say "yessa boss"? If I can't change something, it's not because I didn't try.
