It's scary the oil prices at 26 per barrel and still falling after a high of 110 per barrel. I wonder if the middle east countries, have started war, by disrupting the worlds financial markets? Or did we start it, with an aggressive shale oil campaign? Just thinking out of the box. Sorry for the highjack. Mods you can remove this post if you see it fit. or place it on Panama Reds ''random thoughts'' thread. I trust your judgment.

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering this. I'll ask Jiffy Lube why the prices are still up. Ups rose their rates last Saturday because...? Gas war in Michigan, regular down to .47c for a few hrs.

Becuase prices across the market don't change that fast. In one sector they can, but it takes time to distribute across others.

Ditto. I bought a quart of oil for the F250 this weekend. $4.19 for one quart, and that hasn't changed in years, well, at least more that few cents. $16 a gallon for engine oil when gas is a a buck fifty? What the what?

Just sayin',

Jim

The sellers of groceries and petroleum products other than fuel should be seeing record profits...
