Remember when mid-grade was 10˘ more and premium another 10˘ more?
According to an inflation calculator $3.55 (northeast Ill. price in post above) would be 37˘ in 1960. That is pretty close to regular gas prices in 1960 and so prices are pretty much the same.

It’s $4.21 (regular unleaded) here in Key West. We’ll be on bicycles as much as possible. Or, the kayak..

According to GasBuddy Regular in Orlando is between $3.35/gal and $3.50.
Diesel is $3.79-$3.95. I drove to Virgina and back last weekend and the price was bout $0.10 to $0.15 per gallon higher (gas stations off I-95). The good news was my RAM 2500 was getting about 20 MPG (not towing of course) which lessened the pain a bit.

Nothing in KW is inexpensive.  It’s $20 to park there. We are hauling the bikes there this morning to ride around. Hopefully they don’t charge for parking the bikes.

I haven't been there since the late 80s, but I remember it being a great place to visit and spend time. Probably why they can charge what they do. I'll have to go back one day.

Diesel at an ARCO station two blocks from me in North Las Vegas is $4.95 gallon. That's over a dollar more a gallon than it was just two weeks ago.

I drove from Orlando to Virginia a couple of weeks ago when diesel was Less than $3.50 a gallon any my house. Most places along the route were close to $4/gal then. Now it’s almost $5. It’s almost silly to report prices right now since they are going up daily. If they do a full ban on Russian exports there will be a bigger spike.

What is the cost of fuel in your area?
Regular unleaded is about $1.85 per litre here in Simcoe/Muskoka, Ontario. That works out to about $5.38 per US gallon purchased with US$. First time ever that I have seen Ontario have similar prices to parts of the US. Diesel is within a cent or two of Regular.
The price has jumped $.20 per litre since last Thursday.
