I doubt you will find $2.99 gas anywhere near Yellowstone. We live in Nebraska and buy our gas in Wyoming. A 7 mile trip, save on average $.25 a gallon.

TG-I don't even have to go to Yellowstone, just far enough out of our local bubble-where you don't have to swipe the credit card TWICE to fill up the tank as the tab soars over $100!

Cest la vie... The price of living in this great landscape/climate & icing on the cake for when we do head N or E with the AS, TV & personal hole in the ozone layer

Wyoming is cheaper than Colorado but our mountains are higher. A couple of months ago Albuquerque was cheaper than anyone else.

Bob, Lakewood, Colorado, is cheaper than Lakewood, California. It is an uphill drive to Colorado, but you can roll home.

Wholesale gas is now $3.29.

Well... I lied. That $3.59 was the price yesterday... it’s $3.79 today.

Regular unleaded $4.34/gallon (and that's considered "cheap" in our parts)

Diesel $4.65/gallon

Filled up my '96 Airstream Cutter today with $4.39 diesel and $2.99 propane at the old gas station on Kastania Rd. in Petaluma, CA. Usually I just get enough to get away from the San Francisco bay area... but who knows what the prices will be like next week.

Is that the Gas Club on 101? They used to have great burgers at a stand there. Also nice to find another local on the forum.

Sea Ranch people: Is Upper Crust pizza still there in Gualala? Exceptional pizza. Is Al still running it and complaining about everything?

I think it's about time that we all got together and charged the gas stations $10.00 per gallon, just for us buying our gas there!
Groupons,
What Say?

Crawford Gene, yeah, Upper Crust is still there. I know the owner is a character, but pretty much everyone out here is. We make our own, since we live at the south end of Sea Ranch and don't want to drive 20 miles round trip for Pizza.

Yes, it's Gas Club (no membership required). Just moved to Petaluma a couple of years ago and loving it. I haven't seen any hamburger stand yet..... just some hot dogs rolling on the hot rollers for hours on end. We'll have to get up to Sea Ranch one of these days!
