Where in southern CA are you getting those prices? I'm in Palm Springs and the cheapst unleaded I found was $2.95. Would love to get it cheaper.

There was a battle of the Gas stations in Grand junction CO.. down to $1.91 for an evening... then back up

$2.14 for reg at Sam's club in STL. $2.99 diesel at Road Ranger. Both locales southwest St. Louis County near I-44.

Cheapest in town today, Costco 2.579 unleaded. Cheapest diesel 3.159.

AND ExxonMoble today announched the biggest quarterly profit for a US corporation in History at 14.87 billion....dats billion in ONE quarter. I remember a few years ago..they were making 2 or 3 billion a year and thought that was tremendous.

We were just in Atlanta area, got gas for $2.36 gal in a town called Eatonton, southeast of Atlanta..great weather while there. Stayed at Fort Yargo, would stay there again..

I have a 350 gallon bulk tank with an electric pump that I keep gas in for snow plowing, lawn mowers, tractors, ect. I also fill my car from it when prices get outrageous. I called the bulk dealer this morning and asked them to "fill er up". $2.17 a gallon delivered.

Amazing what happened after the Congress gave permission for off shore drilling.

Race Trac in South Metro Atlanta (Union City @ I-85) was $2.22 for unleaded. I bought diesel this past Sunday for $3.15 @ BP truck stop in Fairburn @ I-85 (one exit south of Union City).

It's falling, but diesel has a way to go, but unlead is getting there. I'm hoping for $1.89 in Atlanta by Thanksgiving.
