So if you use your card at the pump all stations are charging an extra $0.10 per gallon.
use your "debit" card...same price as "cash" (at leas round hea')

Tomorrow morning, gas goes to 99¢ a litre, which with current currency exchange and conversion to US gallons is $3.19 a gallon.

Now, if only I could get my pension fund back.

On the radio this afternoon they said that oil on the exchange closed at $70. that's a little less than half what it was the beginning of July 08, and I believe a little less than it was a year ago.

Hey, with the current world economic situation, and many countries talking about and some doing things to get off of oil dependence, I am not surprised at all. I always thought that the last barrel of oil would go for a bundle. If the world gets off of oil, that last barrel will be worthless.

If you had lots of oil, and your customers even talked about not needing your product, wouldn't you do something to sell your oil? Especially if that was all you had to sell? I think the only thing the middle east has to export is oil and terrorism, and the latter doesn't bring them much money.

Last Sunday we bought gas in Tracy, CA. $3.299.

Central New Jersey -- $2.63 today! Not 2.19 but I'm happy. Now I'll really be happy if this lasts through next summer as we are going to Yellowstone, Tetons and Yosemite (sp?). Of course if it means the world wide recessions is killing jobs I'll pay more umtil we drill-drill-drill.

Jason, you should have driven the 40 miles from Delta to Grand Junction yesterday.

$2.999 at City Market in GJ when we got there, $2.949 as we left and $2.919 with the discount (you have to spend $100 on food to get the 10¢ discount).
