Yesterday, 10-4-06 on the way home with our new to us AS, at a "Sheetz" station on Northbound I-81 in Virginia between I-64 and I-66 (sorry the receipt they gave me inside only had a store number on it not the actual location) - Regular Unleaded $1.79 !!! They even had mid grade at $1.89 and high test at $1.99!!!
Paid $2.05 this AM. Now the weather is turning the fuel is lower...

I can't believe it Both gas and diesel prices have been stuck here in mid-Missouri for about 3 weeks with no change, in spite of all the rumor about lower prices just ahead. Today, on my way to a nearby town, I passed my station and saw no postings for diesel. I got all excited and decided to fill up on my return trip, figuring the new lower price would be posted by then. Sure enough, when I grew near, the new price was up, 8 cents HIGHER! $2.449. ARGH. I just drove on by, too hard headed to fill up after that. ~G

We were as low as $1.94 at Sam's Club on Tuesday. By Wednesday most stations were up .20 to .25 a gallon.
