West Virginia, Southern Ohio shout-out

Are there any other Airstreamers? We live around Huntington, WV which may be Airstream armageddon. Are we alone down here?

Totoro - We often drive right by heading West or back home East. We find we have to go all the way to Lexington/Georgetown, KY, to find a decent camp for that first or last day of the trip. There is an amazing blank space in WV on I-64 without any FHU, well-rated camps I can find. Open to suggestions, as always.

You are right about that. I can only think of one place that is close to Huntington- about 10-15 minutes from the interstate. Beechfork State park.

Near Caldwell on I 64 is Greenbrier state park. Moncove Lake state park is just south of there in Greenbrier county. There are both excellent facilities.
Camp Creek on the West Virginia turnpike (77) is very nice, and easy to get to.

Have a good one!

WOW, I never looked BELOW I-64 seriously before. The descriptions and ratings for that park are wonderful. We'll try it the next time through. Thanks for the lead.
