The one percent is holding up here. We're at Nehalem Bay State Park on the Oregon Coast. Out of 300 sites there are two Airstreams besides us. I haven't talked to them like I usually do as I'm still recovering from the Oregon Unit Rally here over the weekend. Great fun!

Featherbedder--we are thinking of brining our Interstate to the track for the race on Sunday the 18th. What's the name of the campground that you recommend across from CLS?

At Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument this past winter; over eight days we saw a constant 6 or 7 Airstreams camping there. The campground has 174 RV sites which were seldom full.

Just got back from 2 weeks in Durango , CO and from PHX to Durango (round trip on Road) saw 8, in park had 5 and 3 or 4 came in for one night.

We always see AS in ARIZONA on the road trying to get out of the 110++ heat.

Only airstream in the park

If you are in Florida why don't you try one of the several airstreams parks in Florida, on the gulf side and on the Atlantic side........

Every day on the way to work I drive by one of Michigan's State Parks. You can see at least one hundred of the camp sights as you go past.
Not one Airstream all summer long. One canned ham and a cool old motor home but no Airstreams.
This is the first year I've been skunked on Airstream sightings at Mitchell State Park. I have not given up hope with the holiday weekend fast approaching.

We live out in Oregon and tour the western states staying 90% of the time in State Parks, National Parks, and Forest Service campgrounds dry camping. We see Airstreams 1/3 - 1-2 of the time at campgrounds and most every day when traveling briefly on Interstates. Such great looking trailers!

I saw number 9 when we were kids. How cool, l they had a parade through town and tossed aluminum coins out to the onlookers. My sister and I had a pocket full.

We are seldom the only Airstream because we travel with a friend who has an Interstate B-van, but we are often the only Airstream trailer.

I see them pretty often when traveling I-75 here in Kentucky and sometimes in the campgrounds. I guess the trailers on I-75 are heading to/from Jackson Center for maintenance reasons

There's a nice former AS park near Dade City. It has a beautiful golf course. We drove through last year when we were at Hillsborough River S.P. http://travelersrestresort.com/

We’re still newbies. Just spent night #19 in our home on wheels. The only time we’ve seen an Airstream in the same campground was when we made a quick overnight stop on I-65 in northern Alabama at a tiny private park in late July. The campgrounds was not much more than few gravel paths with full hookups for about 20 rigs, but there were only four other RVs present, and one was a newish AS.

We spent this weekend in Branson MO; one night at the state park, and three more at a COE park. We toured several parks with an eye for future visits, but did not see a single AS all weekend.

We spent last night at the Blackwell Island RV Resort in Coeur d'Alene, ID. It's a big RV park, but we did note 5 Airstreams including us, plus one really small antique aerodynamic aluminum trailer that didn't seem to be an Airstream, but definitely interesting.

Do westerners have better taste in RVs than folks east of the Rockies? Not trying to start a debate, but they seem to be somewhat more common here. Possibly, also, RVing in general is more popular out here due to the abundance of beautiful scenery.

Well, our park was full over the holiday weekend, and not a single other Airstream visited us. Had lots of visitors, just none with Airstreams.
