ding ding ding! You win first prize. That was our first night - rained off and on all night, made us feel nice and snug inside. There were some tent campers but they were gone before we rose (which is never very early!)

The whole state just blew us away.

We traveled in a similar manner almost 25 years ago for our honeymoon - in New Zealand. Great way to travel!

If you get back to Hawaii, Maui is simply fabulous - can do it best by jeep.

Very nice. I'm glad we did the Westy thing, but looking forward to heading out with our locked-and-loaded Limited next month. Made us really appreciate all the conveniences that are built in.

I think this Hawaii trip used up our flying vacations for a few years, but Maui (or NZ) would be great destinations.
