God I love camping! We initially planned on one weekend a month from April to October. We live in New England so there are only so many months and I work so there's not much time for camping. But we decided we could sneak in a bunch of weekends if we leave Friday after work and stay local.

So now we're in MA and we had a fire, great time with the dog - this is just too damn fun!!!!!!

How great to enjoy the good things of life.

For the past four or five years, we decided to do two short or one longer trip per month from spring through fall. (We're retired, so weekends aren't at issue.) It hasn't quite worked out that way: some months we've had to cut back to just one short trip; but we sort of made up for it with a 6-week desert tour this past Feb./March.

Too often RVs become expensive pieces of lawn furniture if people don't make the effort to get out.

Go where the spirit takes you!
