massey, well, you can cancel that Tuesday ferry reservation (ditto for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Why? Because you are happily married. I do not want any stinkin' happily marrieds within 100 miles of my Valentine's party for the embittered!

A rally a year ago must be hard to get to—check your date above. I guess men aren't really invited to the embittered women's rally, I live too far away and I'm happily married.
Gene, even if you moved closer, the same goes for you. And you get another demerit point for being so *&%$# observant!

Now, are you still happy I'm back?

Your Valentine wish can not be granted Fly! Google maps says I am 92.8 miles from you every day of the week.

We'd come if we wanted to as an example of a happily married couple—to provide balance. But the time machine is in the shop (one of those cranky Airstream options that don't work very well) and when we get it back, we'll show up in 2012.

Maybe you can become embuttered instead of embittered. Bring a barrel of butter to the next rally, turn up the heat, and get at it. It is the pathway to healing. The next year, add jelly.

Please post photos.

Still happy you're back. The Forum is so dull without you.

Gene

Gene, I agree that FaN is tops; without her, we're left with "spirited" discussions regarding hitches, tow vehicles, tires and guns!

Hi, JDS; Now you did it. FaN will, now, talk about hitches, tow vehicles, tires, and guns. She is a bit feisty.

Probably all in the same post. She's bound to have a story to tell where all four topics come into play.

Hitches? Tow Vehicles? Tires? Guns? hmmmmm.....I'll work on it.

Love the ruby slippers!

Wherever will you be going on that yellow brick road?

Yellow brick road? Or goldbricking? While the terms "goldbrick" has its origins in a relatively famous con game, the term "goldbricking" refers to slacking off. According to my dad, who was career military, in basic his platoon had a gold-painted clay brick. anybody who screwed up was given the gold brick to carry around 24/7. Had to take it everywhere: mess hall, latrine, his bunk, in his pack on maneuvers, etc. Until the next person screwed up, and the former carrier was finally permitted to pass it on to the next fellow. Mt dad would never say whether he personally carried the gold brick…
