Here is a much more simple item than a log. A log requires that you read it and write in it. This only tells you when ONE of your tanks is empty (i.e. the system changed over to the other tank).

LP Remote Change-Over Indicator

I couldn't find a more simple article about it, they all make it look and sound twenty times more complicated than it really is. It took me about 15 minutes to install the whole thing, and "using" it means mounting the small black box indoors where you can't not see it.

What happens is that the small piece that clips onto your auto-change main gas valve creates a small signal when it changes from one tank (that is now empty) to the one remaining full one.

That turns on the only visible item on the "small black box" is an LED light. When you see that light is lit, you need to fill one tank. The bigger your tank is the more time it is giving you to get the empty on filled.

Et voilà! Problem solved.

ps: thanks for the Jogi Jorgesson video. I yust love dat one this time of year. It's sooo smood. Makes me feel yolly!

Aagae, thanks so much for the tip. Shall do.

My Swedish grandparents sounded just like Jogi Jorgesson. I remember my grandmother telling me she was going to buy me a new pair of "peeyamas." (pajamas).

The Second Annual......

....campy film fest.

Last year's Panic in the Year Zero (post #67) was a real laugh.

I am a bit late this time. I usually do this sometime around Christmas.

Oh well. The "Do Not Disturb" sign is on the FaN's door, the DVD player is loaded with a couple of films that look like they are so bad they're good - the tray is loaded with food that is so good it's bad - I'm so looking forward to this.

In keeping with the road genre, we're starting off with.....

....“Call them punks, call them animals... but you better get out of their way!”

Review to follow (if I don't choke on the corn and fattenin' food).

Sounds like a great movie. You might look up "Rubber", the story of a sentient tire that kills people who don't respect it. There are bunch of weird people sitting on a hill watching the tire—I don't know what that was about, but I think it has existential meaning. It has nothing to do with condoms.

We get a channel on satellite called Epix Drive In—really awful movies that unfortunately keep repeating. There will never be enough really awful movies. I've seen Machete Maidens too many times. You may not get it in Canada which is sad.

Hot Rods to Hell

Owning several (see avatar to see one of them) I can't imagine driving them like what I saw in the chase scene. A lot of dirt, gravel and what ever being thrown around and sucked into the carbs. But I guess the studio probably rented them from someone who went into shock when they saw how their babies were being treated

Bob, I missed that. I didn't know it was about trailer tires. I thought it was about some French existential rubber thing where a Michelin tries to impress a Pirelli he is the Pirelli's dream lover. Kind of hard to figure out whether a tire is male or female—I guess the ones with studs are males.

Those Marathons are exhibitionists because they always are taking off their tread.

Gene, I liked your squeal on Rubber!

We do not get the Epix Drive-In here, which may be a good thing because I'd be parked there all the time.

But we are treated to Svengoolie every Saturday night.

dirigible, by the end of HR2H, that '58 'vette was trailing a lot of blue smoke.

Nice baby you have there. (Avatar).
