Dispicible!

The Fraser Valley has been gripped by this tragedy -- correction -- tragedies are often inevitible. This was a dispicible act of negligence.

Story here.....
6 missing dogs died in back of Langley dog walker's truck - British Columbia - CBC News

We have started a fence memorial at the park. This is my contribution....

That's horrible, I wish I hadn't read that. I'd rather not know stuff like that goes on in the world

Before I became a human owned by a dog I would not have been as upset...but now that Traveller is a huge part of our family I really am!
This is so sad!

Didn't meant to upset anyone, but it is important that those dogs not die in vain.

It is a good reminder that we cannot always trust the air-conditioning when leaving our pets alone in a trailer. (RV park may have a brown-out etc.)

Understand that sadness, Annie. Have a good summer with your beloved Traveller. (Great name!)

That's why I leave the AC on and the Fantastic fans open. And I never leave them for long enough for it to become a problem if everything failed.

Wayne & Sam, good thinking!

My little homemade sign was published in one of the local rags today. If it prevents one dog (or cat) from perishing in a hot car (or trailer) this summer, mission accomplished!

awwww.....shuddup and sit down. I've had enough of this cowboy. Horse-racing fortunes can change in a nanosecond. Accept your wins graciously, and your defeats - even more so.

Mr. Coburn, your point-system eligibility tirade stinks because these young horses would be pushed even more. Yeah, you'd get more Triple-Crown winners because 90% of the field would be broken down.

Pardon the rant - comes from almost two weeks of trying to sleep in a barn (with a couple of old, retired racehorses who kick the stall and snore). When I phoned to find out why the FaN's lock and bumper repair was taking so long, they said, "Sorry. You seemed to have fallen through the cracks." What the ??????

I miss my trailer and bed!

Well, look at it this way: at least they were honest!

Hi JD,

Two, actually, but one is devoid of furniture and is about to be renovated.

The other one - I've donated it as overflow accomodation for a transition house, and there's no shortage of women needing it. How sad is that?

Still no trailer. I wonder if there is a "transition house" for Airstreamers who are being abused by their repair shop?

Hey FaN,

No wonder you miss your FaN! That's really good of you with your donated transition house. Life can be pretty bad at times.

Best wishes,

John S.

Yes. Home (on wheels or otherwise) should be a safe haven.

A lot of crap goes on behind closed doors.

All the best to you and yours.

Very nice of you to allow one of your houses to be used as an overflow transition house.
