Whew! I am relieved.
John, how about buying both? (Oh boy, what a vicarious thrill that would be!)
C'mon. We're here for a good time......

Well FaN,
To answer your intriguing question, were we to buy both then we would likely be homeless and, more importantly, too poor to access the internet and therefore ineligible to participate in the Air Forums, to my everlasting regret!

But John, you could access the Forum at a library and maybe take a nap there too. Homelessness doesn't have to prevent you from participating.
If you don't buy a Classic and do buy a FC, you could buy a new tow vehicle too for a total of $100 K. That's pretty much what we did in 2007 and then have put some money into the Safari to upgrade it.

Hi Gene,
I like your line of reasoning. Any solution that potentially leads to a nap (in the library) has my full attention!

You have some serious thinking to do now, John.
Thinking.....dreaming.......thinking......dreaming ....as those delectable visions of Bowlus and Airstream float through your head.....

JD,
Despite the babble, I'm really an old-fashioned woman.
You can go far......but not too far.

BTW, have you noticed -
it would appear "Breakfast Club" has been reduced to the the orbit of just three members?

Mmmmm, not necessarily so.
Some lurk and read every post, just can't match the wit.

An intimate group remains, but not too intimate. And I do believe that there are those who are watching, wit or no wit.

Maggie, you are a "champion" in the sweetheart department.
I am in the process of writing another profundity from "On the Driveway." This one is about my Aunt Marney (Maggie). You remind me so much of her.

On the Driveway - #8
I do okay Airstreaming solo -
until I think about my loved ones who have passed.
Then the loneliness hits.
Today I was stocking up on reading material for my next trip. It reminded me of Auntie Marney (Maggie). I spent a lot of time with my aunt as a child and teenager.
Auntie M loved a good book.
She also taught me how to prepare for a "do" as she called it......
...although my aunt's favourite thing to eat was bread and butter with sugar sprinkled on top, and tea in this pink china cup....
My aunt also loved horses, and raised a few good ones....
Perhaps I should call this trip ""Sentimental Journey" because that road ahead can seem so familiar......looking back.

Awwwww! Thank you.
I must add, there are many who would disagree with that analysis.

I may have over-idolized my aunt a bit;
she was occasionally known as "cranky Maggie."

I'm guessing the pink tea cup is now in your possession - that can help in bringing on the memories. Did she also get you into horses and racing?

Hi Dennis,
Yes. The pink tea cup and other antiquities were handed down to my sister and I.
The horse-racing saga is kinda funny. My aunt was a long-time horse-racing fan who bought her first racehorse when she was 50. At that time she lived in a fancy city apartment.
She then decided to buy a farm for her "baby." So, the racehorse, my aunt and I moved onto this farm on the flatlands of South Delta, B.C., close to the ocean. Very wild and stormy during the winter. And boy, did we ever work hard. My aunt traded her high heels for gum boots. It was just like that TV show, "Green Acres."

Dennis, I just noticed you are from Yakima.
My aunt and I visited a Thoroughbred breeding facility there called Northwest Farms. I doubt if it is still there.

As you may already know, Yakima Meadows carried the TB racing industry for a few years after Boeing bought Longacres.
