I'm thinking of using the courtesy parking, if it's on the way, and was wondering how much advanced noticed should one give to see if it's available? 24 hrs?
I don't think there is any set rule. We've felt the more advance notice, the better.
We've tried to give a 2-week advance request when possible. Then we follow up with exact date confirmation a day or two before arrival.
We will be listed as offering courtesy parking in the next directory. We'd like as much notice as possible, but we'd welcome anyone any time we're home and the space is available.
I should of said that I'm traveling via two-lane roads to B.C. for the summer and I don't have a planned route. I'm allowing 30 days to get there and I'm just going to go with the flow. Because of this, I won't know where I'm staying until the day before.
