If he is European, while in the US with lots of sun they will take advantage of it at every possible daylight hour. ;-)

Unless the photo was taken with a telephoto lens, he is parked too close to the building.

Maybe he is testing the lounge chair newly purchased or waiting for navigator to finish shopping.

Walmart is not a cg or destination.

It is great parking with easy shopping for large rigs, and usually has a security guard overnight, even includes a great alarm clock in the middle of the night when the sweeper drive every inch of the lot.

We travel with maps and resource books for campgrounds and have yet to find any that cater to overnight stops, with ease of parking or price to match a Walmart stop.

If you have an IPhone / IPad there is a free app for Wallmarts that allow overnight RV parking

You could pay for a lot of nice rv park spots for the price of a iPad.

walmart parking, ever notice how the newer parking lots at walmarts are layed out now days, anything pulling a trailer has a hard time getting around and if to long, you can't.

We pulled in to a WM, somewhere around 3 am, near Cinci', went in and asked Manager if 4-5 hours in parking lot was OK... he said "sure... but honestly, I would not recommend it. This is a very, very dangerous neighborhood... just another 15 minutes up the freeway is a whole different world"

Sometimes when it's dark, or when you're tired, your judgement can be off

We also stop at Wal-Marts on occasion, sometimes late at night in towns we are not familiar with.. We size up the neighborhood by checking the parking spots up near the door. If the oil slicks are over 3' in diameter, we move on. The smaller the oil slick, the better the neighborhood.

Best Western in Childress, TX had "rv spots" for 25 bucks. We just needed about four hours of sleep.

One mile up the road there was a wal mart on the same road.

it slept great, and we even let the slides out a little (the horror!)

also went inside the next morning -- got McDonalds and moved on down the road.

Try the outlet mall. I think you will like it better.
