Virginia trip

Ok..We are about to head out tonight to go to Virginia near Charlottesville.We are staying in a place called Misty Mountains Campgrounds.It seems pretty nice.Has anyone been there before?We are not headed straight there though and will be stopping half way there at New green Acres RV Park in South Carolina off of I-95.We will be gone for about 2 weeks so I wont be able to post anything until I get back or unlees I decide to buy another Laptop.
So are there any places that are great to eat at?What about seeing the colors fall.Are there some great areas to travel and see the sites?
This is really going to be an exciting trip and at such a good time.

If you have time the Shenandoah National Park is gorgeous, we traveled there this spring. I imagine the colors will be wonderful. Have a safe trip.

You need to stop in at Trailer Buff, an Airstream Restorer. I can't recall his info right now, but he very near Charlottesville, and has at least 25-30 Airstreams there, some being restored, some for sale. Airstream Life did an article on Trailer Buff.

I've not stayed there, but a guy I work with, spends his summer vacation there every summer. His wife and kids love the place.

Very interesting AS restoration 'factory' with lots of neat old tools & stuff.

Our Tidewater Unit is having a rally there next year. Coming in from the west you will have an easier climb over Afton Mt. Its a bear coming in from the east. Its a very nice campground and you will be pleased with it.

From what I have seen on the website it looks very nice.I will be using the Navigation and it takes me on the west side.It is really going to be nice to see the colors as we cruise through the area.

We just came back from "Top of Georgia" on the 30th. We were surprised and disappointed that there was so little color. Hopefully it will be my prettier when you are there.
