We've had our 65 Safari a year last August and she's still sitting pretty under the carport we purchased to protect her from the elements. Are aiming for hitting the road next June for our first excursion. Of course we thought that would be last August for our 1st excursion. Have to keep the faith lol.

Ha! We had a great time...our first time there with the Bambi...in fact our first time in Rocky Point at all for probably 20 years...we carvanned down with Ron & Mark (Manor68) and Louis & Sergio (LHall) for a long weekend. We will go back....beach front sites, great beach, beautiful weather and HUGE shrimp! Stay tuned to our travel log for the full run-down.

Someone just brought this amazing thread to my attention. How fun it is to see all of these photos! Here's a recent view out of our door on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands in Washington State. This was the tiniest baby deer (she still had some spots on her behind) and was not afraid of us at all. Her brother was nearby with little tiny horns on his head. He was rather hesitant to get as close as his sister did.

Her are a couple of window shots. The first one is from inside of a couple of derelict airstreams on hwy 101 in Oregon. Looking at my 64 Safari. The 2nd and 3rd were from Hearst San Simeon SP, California. 4th was taken at Patrick's Point SP, California.

Great picture Trex! It gives us inspiration. We are landscaping next year, and want to make a "campsite" for the Airstream. The only difference is this past summer we filled in our pool. However, we now have a blank slate. Your yard is beautiful. Thanks for posting.
