Nine Mile Ranch (Nine Mile Canyon), Carbon County, Utah. Lots of scenic geology, pictographs and petroglyphs in this area.

Looks nice. Is it at altitude? (Enough so that you don't need A/C? Shaded campsites?  I'm keeping a list of all the places I want to go after I retire.

Nine Mile Ranch is 6600' and has Cottonwood trees along the creek. Not bad temperature wise and what I'd describe as partial shade. Not many options in the canyon, this place is probably your best option.

Blackwell Island rv park outside Coeur D'Alene Idaho. Loves it so much in June we came back. Kayaking and they have a dog beach!
