Not from our door.....

But you get the idea. Oak Hollow Campground operated by the city of High Point, NC. Nice campground with some sites right on a little lake. Full hookups. Jim told us at checkin "the best site in the campground" and it was empty so we took it. No reservations but generally available except at furniture market times.

Sunset at Kindley Park about six miles West of Graham, TX on Hwy 380. I had the whole place to myself this evening.

Brantley looks much nicer than the Carlsbad RV park we stayed at when we were in the area. That state park looks to be another 12 miles away from the caverns than the RV park we used. At the time we were more focused on proximity, but given you're staying a couple of nights, yours seems a better choice. Hopefully, you also have more vacationers there than long term residents working the oil fields.

Have a wonderful visit!

Closing out our first full 7 days as full-timers on the road with a campfire.

What a beautiful site! Where is this? Congratulations on starting your great adventure. I am questioning to retire this January, or battle on for 2 more years fearing the cost of medicine, living, etc.
Are you home schooling your kids? Years ago, I remember my Dad argued with the school board (of which he was the president). They said he was taking his kids out of school too much. (Eight of us) He replied "what better education is there than seeing the World?" , a line which I repeated when the middle school took me to task for the same. I added " look at their GPA...". I never heard from them again!

We're at Vogel State park, beautiful sites. Our's is right along a mountain stream that is flowing a nice rate. Mother nature is our sound machine.

We will homeschool when they are at the right age. But they're both under two, have a few years to go.
