Great place to watch 4th of July fireworks. The Navy Base had there's and then we walked out to the shoreline and watched fireworks up and down the coast line.

We were there three septembers ago. Great campground and a really nice little town. We got the impression that TYB was very family oriented. By far the nicest bath houses in any campground we've ever stayed at. Did u go on any of the "Ghost tours" in Savanah? That was a hoot. My SIL has a couple pictures that'll make a believer outta ya.
The daughter that set up this trip set up a trip to Land Between The Lakes on the Tennesee/Kentucky border the next September. Another must see if you live in our neck of the woods.
Good times! Everybody enjoy the season and keep posting those pics!

I think my photo was taken about 30' to the right of bambibooth's photo, and looking through the kitchen window. Slightly different angle on the trees. And yes, it rained non stop for both days that we were there but we look forward to returning since it is such a beautiful camp ground. Jim
