Taking advantage of yesterday's weather.

Out for a little drive and a night of camping on the Big Sur coast.

Love the View

Now Janetb,
Your priorities are certainly in order! A lovely image. What a good time to be on the Big Sur coast! Had a friend that lived about a half mile in from the Bixby bridge, so visits to them (Denver & Betty) always included a walk to the coast down Bixby creek.

Also, love your hardened-killer guard pups!

DJ

Thanks DJ.
We sure feel our good fortune at living near such spectacular scenery and try to take advantage of those especially amazing days.
And those guard dogs? Dress in a gopher suit and they'll rip you to shreds. Otherwise, they'll just love you to death.

Here's the view from our Airstream door, taken during our recent trip south of Big Sur on the California coast.

Life is good.

The good & bad of camping . . . .

Either way it's still better than a good day at work.

Hi Ms. Rivet,

Could I trouble you for a measurement of the floor width of your 28'CCD from the mirrored storage door of the pantry across the "hall" to the bathroom door? Trying to order a new runner for our CCD and want to make sure I don't order one that is too wide through that area. Would a 3'6" by 10' runner work...or even better, would a 3'9" by 14' runner fit in that area? My objective is to cover the floor from the sink back to the bedroom door. Think it might be possible with either of those sizes?

Thanks!

Doggies In The Rain

Here's a view from our 1976 Caravanner's door on the last scheduled day of the NorCal Casini Ranch Rally.

It poured rain in the early morning and the rain continued throughout the day.

Oh well, the puppies didn't seem to mind.

Thanks Jeff!

We like them too-nice and quiet and always around, but never underfoot.
They also don't have any vet bills, a fact we appreciate with a few Airstreams and boat (break out another thousand)!

Murray is leashed because Gemma sometimes tires of having to say, "Down Boy!" and/or "Easy, Killer". He's usually off leash though.
