Lake Lago Maggiore and Pass St. Gotthard
This is the third part of our Airstream trip through Italy 2012.
We spend a few days at Lake Lago Maggiore on a campsite called Riviera Camping. Its beautiful campsite with a lot of green and they offer great pitches at the waterfront. The Swiss border is just 10 Miles away with the beautiful city Ascona.
The last overnight stop of our journey took us up to the Swiss Alps on top of pass St. Gotthard, 2012 meter (6614 feet) above sea level.
We started to drive up the serpentines with sunshine and ended up in the clouds at 7 degree Celsius (44F) where we stayed overnight.
Next morning we continued our journey along lake Luzern towards Germany and back home the Airstream Germany HQ.
