Fill water tank. Use 12v pump for water. Holding tanks held 3 days.
Hooked up shore power and burned plenty of ash bore firewood. Winterize with rv AF this week. Simple and fun.

As a former Hoosier who has camped in just about every Indiana State Park, only Prophetstown SP and Charlestown SP offered full hook up sites. Electric only is the norm, with community spigots for water in the campground, and dump/fill stations in or just outside the campground.

Having offered this tidbit, every Indiana SP offers great sites, close by towns, attractions, and access to activities.

Thanks for the info! We like biking and fall camping and as soon as we get our baby out of the shop we hope to burn some firewood too.

We camp not far from this state park and just love this area of Indiana. It is so beautiful and peaceful! Glad you had some down time with your family. Maybe we'll see you around in the spring!
