We stayed at the Capilano RV Park in West Vancouver, almost under the Lions Gate Bridge. Nice location to walk to Downtown over the bridge or a short drive.
www.capilanorvpark.com See the Steam Powered Clock and check the Farmer's Market, take a water taxi around the harbor, hit China Town. See the Grouse Mtn tram, and see the Capilano suspension bridge.
A trip into the residential area of West Vancouver is wonderful too, to see all the beautiful homes.
In Victoria BC we stayed at West Bay Marine Village and RV Park. Right on the water with a spectcular view of downtown Victoria and harbor.
Once again, easy walk by paved trail into town

If you are in Victoria, let me tell you of a real find: Go and tour the Parliament building and then go downstairs to the little known diningroom for the legislature, which in 2006 was open to the public. Great food, white linen tablecloths, very, very reasonable prices (almost cheap) that can't be beat anywhere.
