Upscale Central Florida RV Resorts

I am looking for an upscale, full hookups, RV resort in the central part of Florida, including the East and West coasts. We might spend a month down there in the February - March time slot.

A while back, I saw such a place on the forum, but cannot find it with the search options. It was a small private campground that was well laid out.

Any and all experiences with upscale campgrounds in the above region would be of interest.

How about:

Silver Palms at silverpalmsrv.com
Holiday Cove at holidaycoverv.com
The Woods at thewoodsrv.com (but not everyone's cop o' tea I suppose) ;-)

I have not stayed at either of these places BUT I research lots of them to visit one day as many are a hop and skip for me. The state parks are nice but more nature oriented and a little of "roughing it". I prefer them because of price BUT To stay on a pad, with pool, etc, what I am defining as upscale, here are two that I would suggest:

West coast Bradenton area- great for doing things outside of the park too.

Holiday Cove Holiday Cove RV Resort - Florida RV Resort located in Cortez, FL offering RV Sites and Boat Slips (as Hoonanea mentioned)

East coast Titusville area. The area is not as spiffy but the park looks great and has amenities. The nice thing is that the location puts you in a good port for reaching north to St Augustine, Daytona; westward to Orlando-Dizzyworld and the rest; and coastal too.

The Great Outdoors Florida RV Resorts | Central Florida RV & Golf Resort - The Great Outdoors

If you want over the top, then here is the one for you:

Fort Wilderness is great, but make sure you ask for FULL cement pad. There are sites in the cypress swamp that are pretty, but I think for environmental reasons, they were only able to pour a certain amount of cement making it a very small pad. The balance of the site is pea gravel and it makes a mess. You also want to make sure that you don't stay up near the front of the loop as the buses coming by on a regular basis can be a little aggravating. I definitely enjoyed seeing deer and turkeys at different locations.

Travelers Rest outside of Dade City is Airstream friendly. 260 aces with lots of facilities and activities. When west of the Tampa area, I stay at Sherwood Forest in Palm Harbor. It is not the fanciest and there are quite a few other ones in Palm Harbor on Alt Route 19 and a couple over on Route 19 north of there.
