Finally got back on the road. The first mountain trip since we sprung the Sport from a four year hibernation. Enjoyed a leisurely climb northward on those beautiful US Routes - no crowds, and plenty of diesel fuel stops.
The X5 diesel repeatedly handled the Continental Divide with ease, and managed 17.5 MPG on the Great Plains. We hadn't seen the Rockies and the Tetons in nine years, and they always look great in the windshield, and under the hiking treads.
