Uneven Tire Wear

I just put new tires on my 2012 25'. Looking at the old ones they are worn on the inside of the tread - the side facing the trailer - noticeably more than the outside. Is that normal?

Two years ago we had bad inside wear on tires that were good just four months before. We are full-timers so we quickly bought new tires. This was only on our back axle. After many questions here we realized some idiot jacked us up and bent the back axle. Jackson Center directed us to someone in TX which was the direction we were headed and they bent it back for about $400 or so.

It was my understanding that the wheels should toe in a bit, which would wear the outside of the tire. Use a straight edge held against the front and rear tire side wall to check the wheel alignment. An 8 ft light tube will do the job if you do not have a long straight edge. Alternatively, you can use a tight line between two jack stands. Good luck with your investigation. Pat
