It was my understanding that the wheels should toe in a bit, which would wear the outside of the tire. Use a straight edge held against the front and rear tire side wall to check the wheel alignment. An 8 ft light tube will do the job if you do not have a long straight edge. Alternatively, you can use a tight line between two jack stands. Good luck with your investigation.
