Traveling with bed deployed on Basecamp?

Greetings all!

We are planning to take our first trip in our 2018 Basecamp soon. A 10 day trip at that!

It's a fairly large chore to setup and take down the bed and may want to travel at times with it folded down. We plan to put something like non-slip cabinet rubber pads down on the table tops to keep the abrasion to a minimum. Other than that, any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions on traveling with the bed setup?
