Transport Hire?

Hello Everyone!

Well, it's finally just about done. After 6 months, the trailer we purchased in February is just about done. Hopefully about 2 days work left. Anywhoo, I had planned taking the trailer about 100 miles away from here and leaving it there for the remainder of the Summer and Fall. The person that told me he would be happy to move it for me, is flaking out on me. So, here is my question for you. Has anyone hired someone to transport their stream' for them. Is there some type of Airstream Owners resource I am not familiar where we help each other with this type of thing. Of course, assuming proper payment for job done.

You might want to check with a local RV dealer.Possibly they or an employee might be willing
Chances are that no one who transports RV's for a living ( I used to do that) is going to be willing to bother with a 100 mile move unless they are right in the area or get quite a premium to do it.
I know that is not what you wanted to hear.

Chances are good someone here can help you. Where is the trailer and where is it going? When does this need to happen?
