Wow. Thanks for the info. I'll definitely look for the BB's.

When you use Blue Beacon do they wash the tow vehicle too for the same price?

Looking at some youTube videos they use the same pressure type washers at the coin operated self service. Do they wash the top and dry the trailer and tow vehicle?

Blue Beacon does use acid.

As mentioned above, not really a problem for clear coated trailers, but it WILL dull polished trailers.

Superat stultitia.

Don't know for sure. I've heard both ways, so it may depend on the location and how many trucks are stacked up. I've taken our 40' MH through once, and was happy with the results. The Jeep was already unhooked, so I didn't hook it up to see.

Used Rudy's in Fort St John on way down AK highway, easy access do it yourself car and truck wash. Bays long enough for pickup and 25' to fit.
Used Blue Beacon for first time in Twin Falls, ID. $15 for truck and $25 for trailer. Worked out fine.

With all the water splashing and misting inside the BB wash space, both vehicles get wet anyway so might as well get the bugs and road grime off both at the same time.

Our units are stored under roof in Apache Junction, AZ but there is always an accumulation of dust and sand from the wind storms that we get washed at the start of most trips.

I live in S Cali, LA area. I use those mobile washer guys to come and wash my trailer. When my wife says I am not the one cleaning it, I tell her, I took the effort to call and make arrangements. So technically, I washed the trailer.

I've used blue beacon as a trucking company and with my AS. They do a reasonable job, but they are nation wide. I have found a local guy that details cars. He charges me $110 for my 28' international. And believe it or not, that's a hand wash AND hand wax with tire dressing... I scored here in Cocoa. FL... You might also in your home town

Regarding Blue Beacon do you ask that they do or do not use their brushes? Or simply have them spray wash with soap and water?

I use BB and love it $42 for truck and trailer, I have not had RainX applied, not sure if it OK. Does anyone here have them apply rainX to trailer? Is it safe on clear coat??

There is a less expensive, generic version of Rain-X available at Blue Beacon.
You can specify no acid.
To clean in between, I wipe down after a dew- free wash-
I use Meguiar's instant detailer in between and at campgrounds where trailer washing is prohibited.

There are brushes for 18 wheeler smokestacks. The brushes are kinda sorta u-shaped.
You can request no brushes as well.
Even after a Blue Beacon wash a towel dry the truck and trailer before hitting the road.
