Towing routes in Colorado

I've taken my 28 to town park in telluride. There is a dip as you enter the camping area that might cause the rear to drag. You can call ahead to see if any spots are open, but they won't hold it for you. I have stayed at stayed a Matterhorn campground and love Ridgway SP.

Ridgway is a great state park. Reserve early since it is popular. You are in John Wayne Country. I've spent a lot of time in that area doing landscape photography. The opening scene homestead cabin is still standing from True Grit. And you can eat at True Grits in the town of Ridgway. Good food. Lot of history.

Just a report from the road. We met Jim, Lois and " Homer" at the top of Monarch Pass. They were kind enough to show us their new rig. Nice. Towing-all was well.
It was a pleasure to meet them.
