Tow Vehicle Envy

Here's a site where this guy converts 18 wheeler cabs into tow vehicles for 5th wheelers or regular hitch trailers. Now I know what I want for Christmas.

You know, I've been bugging the wife for one of these... I can fit the whole family in there, no problem! Mileage should not be too much of an issue, right?

Does it have enough capacity for an AirHitch if I think the ride would be too harsh from the umpty-zillion pound GVWR?

Most of those big OTR trucks come with automatic air ride suspensions, so the less weight on the rear end, the less air in the airbags, and a smoother ride. I don't think weight distribution would be needed, though.

With the same type of hitch used to tow mobile homes with other medium/heavy duty trucks.

Most times it's just an assembly mounted to the very rear of the frame. It drops down and has a ball on it. I've also seen an adapter that slides into your 5th wheel and and comes back over the frame.
