Top of Georgia Airstream Park
Can't say enough nice things about this park. Just spent 6 nights there with some of the nicest, friendly people. When we checked in we were only going to stay 3 nights but liked it so much that we stayed another 3 nights. For $7 a night and have full hook-ups with wi-fi and satilite TV is very difficult to beat. I know there was another thread on this park several weeks ago but I couldn't find it so I posted a fresh one.
If you haven't been there it is located about 7 miles norht of Helen on highway 75. You can't miss it because you can see all the Airstreams from the road.

We stayed there a couple of years ago. It is a very nice and well maintained facility. The campground host at the time couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. We had our two young boys with us and they invited us to return and bring their bi-cycles with them next time. When it comes to pets, the only thing they asked was that we clean up after him and that was all they said at check-in.

Glad you had a good time. That's our home park and our folks are very nice.
Let me know next time you are headed that way.

Yeah, it's a great park.
Does anyone else feel like they are driving through Bavaria when getting into Helen? had a good bratwurst sandwich in town. Will have to head back there this summer sometime and jump in the river next to the camp.

We spnt 6 weeks there this winter. Loved the park & the town of Helen. We're making plans to go back this October for Octoberfest. Helen is just like a little german town. Can't think of a better place to enjoy a couple of beers.

We stopped by to check out that Airstream RV park June 2008 while camping at Unicoi State Park nearby. I agree the people there were most friendly and accommodating in showing us the campground accommodations. When the wife and I retire within a year or so and have more time to travel, we will want to stay there a few days while in the area.

Bear in mind that this IS a park that belongs to the Georgia Unit and they have a rally in October that coincides with October Fest. You would probably be more than welcome to join the Rally, but you would be joining up to 200 other rally going Airstream trailers for the rally if you do, and they wouldn't allow non-ralliers that week unless you were there on a long term stay. Call ahead and check it out. Reservations aren't allowed, though. I'm a member of that unit but never been to this rally.

We do hold a rally in the middle of October. There will still be room in the park. We do ask that everyone staying in the park during a rally pay the Rally Fee. It is normally $15 per person and includes 3 or 4 meals and entertainment on Saturday Night. We would welcome members from other units.
