Today is the day!

After months of planning and a week of desperate preparation we are now ready to leave the cold of Vermont for 6 months of the desert SW. House closed up- we are all set to go.

Have a great winter in SW. We lived in Vermont for over 40 years & retired to Downeast Maine in Lubec.

Picked up new to us , 25' Classic 2005 & spent 50+ nights mainly in PEI, New Brunswick, Canada. We are hooked fro sure.

Plan to spend April, May in SW near Patagonis,AZ. Where will you be more or less,

David

Have a great time in the SW. Try our favorite spot in N NM. Ojo Caliente hot Spring Resort. We just returned from a short visit 2 days ago. Ojo is about 1/2 hour west of Santa Fe. We usually get there a couple of times each year. Great place to relax and soak away the cares of the World.

Magic Carpet & D Bishop- we are getting there. Currently at RV overnight stop in Amarillo and then plan on being in Albuquerque next. Our final destination is Benson, AZ. As for Ojo Caliente, we Have been there and I could' agree with you more about a great place to relax. Looking forward to our next visit👍
On the home stretch now. 1800 miles + since we left on Monday. Really looking forward to restful 4 days in Albuquerque before heading south.

Weather here in Albuquerque is supposed to be outstanding for the next few days. You should be able to soak up the sun before you move on. Hope all is going well. We have a Camping World if you forgot anything you need badly enough to pay the price...

We made it to Albuquerque! What a trip. 2169 miles so far. Staying in a great campground. Look out my door at Camping World. Two more days and then we start moving south towards Deming.

There is a nice campground just a bit north of Albuquerque.... Turquoise Trail Campground and RV Park - in Cedar Crest, New Mexico, near Albuquerque

we stayed here. Nice. Do a YELP search for tacos.... there is a great little taco joint close to the university. we do like Mexican food!
