Just for the record, it's not "moniters", but is "monitors".

I thought it was misspelled because there was already a thread with it spelled correctly.

Ken

Does that mean you have to wait five minutes to know if a tire is deflating?

I understand the alarm will report without a delay.

After reveiwing all the options, I just purchased the Pressure Pro system. I'm sure I'll be back with questions as I learn how to use it efficiently.

Congratulations and I am sure you will love them as much as the rest of us who own them. They give great peace of mind as well as being a wonderful safety item. Relax - read the manual and don't get too frustrated doing it for the first time - I found it a little confusing.
Not sure if you bought the locking washers - they may have changed that system to secure the monitors to the 'metal' valve stems (I had a rubber stem break due to the centrifugal force and then replace all the stems with metal ones) which simply makes it much more difficult if someone decides to play games and take them off.
Let us know later what you think of them.

Cheers,
Don

SEMI TRUCK TPMS, RV, MOTORHOME TPMS, COMMERCIAL VEHICLE TPMS, HEAVY EQUIPMENT, BUS, TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEMS

The things that swayed me this direction were price, replaceable sensor batteries, temp monitoring and some favorable indepth research from a friend.

I've only had them out for a single short outing but so far they seem to perform as good or better than advertised. For $408 I got 6 sensors, 6 metal valve stems, the monitor, various mounts AND the optional amp since I have a 34' trailer. At this point I have not installed the amp since they sensors work even with the truck parked 20-30 feet in front of the trailer. I will probably send the amp back for a refund bringing the cost to under $350.

Only time will tell!
TIME!
Having done a couple of outings, including a 1,700 mile loop, I am thrilled with the system. I have not needed the amp, but I did keep it. I figure I'm kinda on the upper length limit and will go ahead an install it.
The rechargable headunit is nice, I can hold it as I air up the tires and don't need a gauge.
The temps pretty much mesh with my laser infared gun that I use to shoot the hubs at each stop.
No complaints, great price, flashing red lights...what else is there to say?
